Traffic Signal Junction Modification
Non-Statutory Public Consultation
Meath County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 and Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act, 2009, hereby gives notice that it has prepared a scheme for the modification of the existing Traffic Signal controlled junction at Aisling Place and the R162 (Proudstown Road) at Blackcastle, Navan, Co. Meath.
The Scheme provides for;
Additional Pedestrian Crossing facilities on Aisling Place at the Junction
Additional Pedestrian Crossing North of the junction on the R162 between Aisling Place and Russell Court
Modified entrance to Beaufort Place and improved uncontrolled pedestrian crossing facilities
Uncontrolled pedestrian crossing facilities on Aisling Place to St Oliver’s Catholic Church
Ancillary drainage, kerb, pavement, road marking, public lighting and landscaping works
The plans and particulars of the proposed scheme will be available for inspection during office hours at the offices of the Local Authority listed below:
Meath County Council, Planning Department, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co Meath, C15 Y29
from Wednesday 24th July 2024, to Friday, August 16th, 2024, and will be available for purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy during office hours at the offices of the Local Authority listed below:
