A new action plan for nature in Meath – have your say!

Meath County Council is at an advanced stage in the preparation of the Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025 – 2030.

A draft Biodiversity Action Plan has been produced by the local authority with the support of the Biodiversity Working Group of the Meath Heritage Forum. It sets out a statement of intent by Meath County Council in relation the local authority's role in the protection and conservation of nature in the county over the next 6 years. The draft is accompanied by the following:

  • Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Report
  • Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Report

Completion of this survey constitutes an official submission in the public consultation on the draft Meath Biodiversity Action Plan 2025 - 2030. We want to hear your views on the draft plan — what you support, what can be improved, and what actions you think should be prioritised.

Please note: Submissions received by Meath County Council will be made available to the public.
